Mighty Asian Movie Making Marathon : Stranger Thangs

I had the pleasure of acting in Stranger Thangs produced by The Milton and Glenn Show at this year’s Mighty Asian Movie Making Marathon (MAMM)!

MAMM is hosted by the Vancouver Asian Film Festival and is a competition that supports and showcases emerging local filmmakers. The competition takes place over 10 days where filmmakers pitch, write, shoot, edit and submit their film.

The films screened at the International Village Cineplex Odeon to a full house.

I had so much fun working on this short film. Check it out below! :)

Just wrapped the short film Better in collaboration with Scotti Gibson from Langara Film School this past weekend. Thanks to Scotti, my co star Julie and the rest of the crew for their professionalism and hard work. I had a sharking good time!

The Songwriter

Update January 16-2016: The film is now on IMDB! Below is a sneak peek of the poster :D

That’s a wrap on The Songwriter!

This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of working with director Beau Bridge the past few months (I recently worked on Making a Bed, Shirtless with Beau). He’s constantly challenging me as an actor. For this particular film, my musical talents were tested.

In the film, I play the lead character who is an aspiring singer/songwriter so I sing and play both the piano and guitar in the film. One of which Beau taught me to play 15 minutes before I was asked to perform on camera! I now have this intense urge to go out and buy a guitar…and perhaps start writing some songs!

This is the first time I’ve had to sing or perform on a instrument on camera so I’m excited to see the finished film!!
